scratch that previous message, I’m seeing that the site is not maintaining the format needed to decrypt the PGP messages, I apologize. I’ll just be using basic encoding maybe? I’m not even sure I should care given no traffic, not even web crawlers which could be a good thing but it’s slightly odd.

in case any confusion is to be met in regards to the messages on this site, future messages will be encrypted with PGP (Pretty Good Privacy).

in my expert, big-brain, work, I will not be using PGP for its intended use on one-on-one messaging or small groups. rather, as a way to hide my tracks a bit. search engines that crawl aren’t going to waste resources attempting to decrypt PGP messages.

could i do a robots.txt file? sure could! but its not fun and no crawler has to respect that file.

regardless, i think its just fun and nice in general. now onto the decryption…

PGP isn’t meant to operate in this way but we’re built different here. i have a key to decrypt the messages that will be going out. there’s lots of software to do these functions including stuff online, but you can also just use something like Kleopatra to import keys and decrypt messages.

i ask that you do not sign things with this key. i can’t stop you so i guess dont trust anything signed or encrypted by protogenreader.
