while we’re on the topic of “social norms”, lets talk about everything wrong that we aren’t focusing on.

like casual sex, prostitution, pornography, doing drugs because everyone is doing it to feel something, having zero regards for the value behind a dollar, thinking that “well im never going to use this because im gonna pay everyone to do it for me”, thinking that its okay to push yourself on everyone to like you and know who you are, the lack of regard of privacy…theres so much more.

coming from a personal perspective from what i’ve seen – casual sex, prostitution, and pornography have all come together in one. with the rise in onlyfans and “fucking a pornstar” because “its cool and trendy”. sure, this isnt some scientific study or college paper, but it also doesnt take a rocket scientist to tell you that theres something wrong with that sentence alone. not only is pornography one of those common addictions like cigarettes and alcohol, but it just fucks with you. you’re always wanting more. then all the weird fucking fetishes that seem normal now, but you’re always wanting to explore more…its just…gross.

not to mention what it can do to you as far as your confidence and such. maybe its just me but every time you finish, you think to yourself “why did i just do that?” “what was the benefit of that?” “why do i keep doing this?”. it doesnt matter what youre into. yiff, clopping, regular porn, or the real kinky shit – its all an addiction. and yet we continue to just move on with it because…why?

there’s no issue with gender norms. there really isnt. lots of what we had 15-20 years ago was just fine. not all, but most. the fact we think its okay to just wear whatever we want in public without repercussions and demand that other people accept it is just ridiculous. and no, im not talking socks with sandals or that dress that looks like cat vomit – im talking more the pup masks, bdsm gear, murrsuits, the full on femboy outfits with your ass showing, the “everyday” outfits that look like you just put on a bikini from a club and called it good, all of it isnt okay. keep that shit in your own home or your own parties. dont expect everyone to be okay with it and/or force people to like it.

drugs these days – id say they only have gotten worse. we’ve certainly expanded on the amount of drugs we had from 20+ years ago (especially with the deadly rise in fentanyl or the vape cloud of lies). we think its cool to flaunt our douchesticks in front of the camera, how its hip just to blow your clouds everywhere, how its so easy to meet up and get high…and so easy to die. with the increase in demand to “legalize everything” so we dont overflow our prisons or beat the shit out of people on the street, it just then becomes more of a reason to keep doing what youre doing (smoking/injecting and being retarded until you die).

ive seen countless homeless folk in the streets, dancing and twitching, doing as they please. its unspoken rule that you dont touch them, you dont interact with them, you dont even look at them. just keep looking forward and hope they dont notice you. those who do try to get clean almost always fall right back into the same place. hell, they even get paid to continue doing what they’re doing. why get clean and get a job when the state/feds will pay you to continue?

or the lack of regard for work, persay. instead of learning to do the most basic of tasks ourselves, we pay people to do it for us. its not even a regard for doing it “better, faster, more efficent”, its just we’re too lazy to do it ourselves. i see it all the time with people not knowing how to change a tire, not understanding how to do just basic home repair (i.e. drywall hole fixes), or even just shit like DoorDash. i’ll admit, i do Doordash from time to time, usually because i’ve been doing way too much as it is at home or if I am out on a work trip, but i’ve seen people order off of that damn app upwards of once a day. its not even the price of food, its just the fees to actually have everything done. it can almost double your meal.

that was a big problem i had with Kaizen. not the doordash shit but that he refused to actually learn anything like keeping care of a house or fixing shit on the car because “well im just gonna rent and probably get rid of my Mazda so whats the point?”. my apartment complex is a perfect example. this cali trip is a perfect example. with my apartment, i notified my management that there was an issue where my living room heater (we dont even have furnaces, just the big old resistors that sit on the floor mounted to the wall) was not working at all, even at full blast. that has yet to get done. the chips and dents in my walls i had when i moved things around were never seen because i paint matched and got the plaster to get it all done. management certainly couldnt take care of it, not to even mention the fire that almost came about because an outlet was too old and arcing with my powerline adapter. these things were full of dust, inside and out. was i about to wait a week for them to replace an outlet that takes 30 minutes to do? fuck no. i needed my rig back up and running so i could work.

even doing that scared Kaizen. when i first had to change an outlet out he was asking me if i was even licensed to do it. was i supposed to be at the age of 18? i had done it a million times before remodeling that basement at my fathers, but yet Kaizen chose to doubt me. when it came to my car having issues (due to alternator failure), he told me i was always having problems with my car. cosmetics? sure yeah, shes a 1996. i expect that. engine and transmission? fuck no. im lucky to not have the body rusted but if doing oil changes on a 3 month/10k miles schedule (the fancy Royal Purple stuff, in case youre wondering why not 5k) and having to do two major fixes over 5 years is “constantly having issues”, then I think you’ve got something more wrong with yourself.

i’ve done a majority of things myself. everything from wiring (both data and power), learning to code and maintain a server rack, establishing HA between docker, doing electrical in my car, like theres so much that i just assumed everyone knew but doesnt. now i know why…because some people are really fucking lost or just stupid.

probably a two part rant, im just gonna post this for now since i cant stay focused.
